Lithuanian Delegation in Rome
ProEsys meets the Minister of Economy and Innovation
Yesterday, ProEsys had the privilege of meeting with the Lithuanian delegation headed by the Minister of Economy and Innovation, Mrs Aušrinė Armoniatė, and it was an enlightening experience.
During the meeting, we talked about a variety of topics, including the challenges faced by the aerospace industry, the importance of research and development, and the impact of technology on the sector. The coordinator of the Lithuanian ESA Business Incubation Centre, Mr Saulius Arelis, shared insights on the government’s role in supporting innovation and fostering collaboration between the Italian and Lithuanian aerospace industry and academia.
We showcased our technological advancements and upcoming challenges in LoRaWAN-compatible satellite IoT solutions. We emphasized the high potential of our IoT module which relies on a GEO satellite enabling bi-directional and real-time communication across satellite and terrestrial networks. We also presented our latest solutions for monitoring critical infrastructure such as railways, HV pylons, cathodic protection for pipelines, and landslide early detection.
Overall, it was a productive meeting full of opportunities, and we are grateful to Mrs Michela Michilli, the new head of the Spazio Attivo Roma Tecnopolo of ESA BIC Lazio, and Mr Roberto Giuliani for the opportunity to take part in this significant bilateral meeting.
